Joshua Tree is certainly a familiar name for music lovers and especially U2, the famous Irish rock band's fifth album titled with the name of the famous Californian desert. But the Joshua Tree National Park is also the location for this particular art installation created by Phillip K. Smith III, a sort of architectural structure that thanks to the mirrored surfaces creates an illusion that the game of reflections, mirages that confuse our senses by altering the perception of the volumes of solids and voids. If you are in California take a ride in the desert and find this artwork, this oneiric totem maybe by turning in your pod "In God's Country" by the great Bono.
