THE BEST OF FURNITURE EXHIBITION 2014 TEKO
W77 di Louise Tøt
At the Stockholm Design Week 2014 , the college has proposed TEKO Danish work of 12 students , including more than a thousand members each year they attend courses in design and business . Focus this year : innovation, aesthetics, durability and most importantly, a real utility .
The projects on display range from a modern bench with seat made from wood fiber weaves a tea set inspired by Japanese aesthetics , up to a cage for chickens for urban use , in the balconies of the house.
Here is our selection. " W77 " Louise TOT is a stool Ergonomic anything but minimal , despite the linear appearance . The seat can be removed and used it as a tool for doing physical exercises on the floor for balance .
Karen Toft revisits a classic today ever so useful in small living spaces , the desk . It's called " Secretaire " , a tribute to the architecture of Le Corbusier and geometric graphics . To whet the desire to explore the interior spaces that reveal new uses and sizes.
But our favorite is the wardrobe " Töjbox " by Michael Christensen Daae , from the simple and practical design . The cabinet is deployable anywhere in the home : the walls lies gently, but at the same time makes us believe that it's always been there.
